Find Course Materials

There are four main places you can look for course materials:

Illinois Tech Library Search
Use this to look for cases and articles you know are available through the library. Search through nearly all of Galvin Library's online and electronic resources at once and find books, articles, journals, and more.
This resource is best if you want to ensure you'll be able to access a resource right away, and you want to do a comprehensive search of all of our holdings.

Google Scholar
Google Scholar will broadly search for scholarly literature that Google has indexed. Use this when you aren't sure if Illinois Tech has access to an article. Note that non-scholarly items, like websites and many cases, will not show up in these results.

Google
Use a standard Google search to find websites and non-scholarly articles.
Harvard Business Review Digital Articles
Harvard Business Review Digital Articles are uploaded daily to HBR.org and then bi-weekly to this online journal available through EBSCO. "Big Idea" articles are not included.
Use this to find digital articles from HBR, as many of these are not included in the standard library catalog search.

Set Up Google Scholar

Open the sidebar menu by clicking on the three lines in the upper left corner

Click on "Settings" from the right sidebar menu

Navigate to your "Library Links" page

Select "Library Links" from the right sidebar menu, and search "Illinois Institute of Technology" in the search bar in the middle of the page.

Add Illinois Tech's library links

Check the boxes next to "Illinois Institute of Technology - Find Full Text -> IIT" and "ILLINOIS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY - MAIN CAMPUS - ProQuest Fulltext" and hit "Save"

Search for articles

Now when you search for articles, you should see "Find Full Text -> IIT" to the right of some of your results. Click on it to be redirected to the Illinois Tech catalog to access the article.
