What is the Galvin Library Media Studio?

 

 

 

The Galvin Library Media Studio (GLaMS) is your place for content creation at IIT.

Students, Staff, and Faculty can book time in the studio to gain access to basic tools for video production, sound recording and editing, and streaming. Bring only your creativity and your curiosity!

How To Book the Galvin Library Media Studio

Step 1: Go to the GLaMS Booking Page

Reserve the Galvin Library Media Studio by visiting the GLaMS Booking Page. You will see a real-time calendar of available booking times, as well as a list of reserveable rooms.

Step 2: Click A Block To Start Your Booking

Click the color block to select your booking start time.

Step 3: Select Your Booking's End Time

Use the drop-down menu to select the time your booking will end. GLaMS reservations have a maximum duration of 3 hours.

Step 4: Submit Your Booking Request

Click Submit Times to tentatively hold your booking time and move to the next step.

Step 5: Review Study Room Policies

Review the policies and rules of use for the Galvin Library Media Studio, then click Continue.

Step 6: Your Information

Provide your name and IIT email address. Note that the Galvin Library Media Studio is available only to IIT students, staff, and faculty.

Step 7: Watch your Email Inbox

Your booking request has been submitted! You will receive an email indicating the successful submission of your booking. Please arrive on time for your room booking, and follow all applicable GLaMS rules and policies during your time in the room.
