  • WiFi Hotspots are for use by IIT Students, Faculty, and Staff.
  • Hotspots are provided and maintained by the Office of Technology Services (OTS). Having problems with your device? Call, email, or stop by the OTS Support Desk.
  • Please do not return hotspots via the book drop; hand them directly to a library staff member.
  • Hotspots must be returned no later than 30 minutes before the library closes.
  • Please do not change the hotspot settings to "roaming"; this may cause the use of a different network or international service. Any resulting charges will be billed to your IIT student account.
  • Hotspots cannot be requested or reserved.
  • Due to high demand, patrons must wait 24 hours after returning a hotspot to check a hotspot out again.
  • Please adhere to the respective policies of OTS and the Galvin Library.
