  • Historical Statistics of the United States  
      
    "... on online database of statistics, tables, charts, and other quantitative data covering the history of the United States. Census data from 1790 to 2000 is the source for the data."
  • Stat-USA  
      
    Access federal business, trade and economic information made available through the U.S. Department of Commerce. Note: Available only at the Galvin Library. Please see a librarian at the Reference Desk for username and password.
  • USA Trade Online  
      
    The Foreign Trade Division of the U.S. Census Bureau and STAT-USA compile accurate and timely U.S. Merchandise Trade data, providing export and import information on more than 18,000 commodities worldwide. Note: only available at the Galvin Library.

    Information on U.S. labor economics.
  • Census Bureau  
    Reports from the office responsible for collecting population, economic and housing data within the United States.

    Country information and statistics. Continuously updated.
  • Economic Statistics from the White House  
      
    A collection of links from several government agencies.
  • FirstGov  
      
    The information and services department of the U.S. government.
  • FreeDemographics.com  
      
    Fee-based site that allows for some free access to create custom reports and graphs using U.S. census data. Must register to use.
  • NationMaster  
      
    Create custom graphs comparing different countries' data from the CIA World Factbook.
  • OECD Statistics  
      
    Free dataset from the Organsation for Economic Cooperation and Development.
  • State and County QuickFacts  
      
    This site offers efficient access to facts about people, business, and geography from the U.S Census.
  • Statistical Abstract of the United States  
      
    Covers "social, political, and economic organization of the United States." Organized by topic.
  • Tarrif and Trade Dataweb  
      
    From the U.S. International Trade Commission. import and export data for international business.
  • TradeStats Express  
      
    Import/export data from the national and state level.
