Course-specific library instruction:
If you are a professor in psychology and would like to schedule a library instruction session for your course, please contact me at ajakubas@iit.edu or 312-567-3373. Classes can be held in the Library Learning Center (an interactive room with 18 computer workstations), your classroom, or a larger computer lab on campus.
Examples of sessions:
Sessions can cover one class period or more depending on the depth of instruction you would like your students to receive. Please contact me at least two weeks before the session to reserve space.
Library-related assignments:
Do you have an assignment that requires the students to use the library? Let me know so we can prepare our librarians and student assistants to help your students with questions. Do you want to make a library assignment? I can assist you in constructing an assignment that will incorporate your subject material into library research.
